Ryan is the all-time leader in saves for Indiana University, pitched in the 2013 College World Series and was drafted 3 times - 1st out of high school by the Houston Astros, 2nd his junior year in college by the Minnesota Twins - and elected to finish college and graduated with a degree in History. His senior year he was selected in the Major League Draft by the San Francisco Giants. Ryan has pitched 5 years in Professional Baseball starting in Rookie Ball in Salem, Oregon, moved to Low A ball in Augusta, Georgia, then to High A ball in San Jose, California, where he was an All-Star, then Double A ball in Richmond, Virginia and Triple A ball in Sacramento, California. Ryan has appeared in Spring Training games with the San Francisco Giants and has his sights set on being a regular on a Major League field.
